this is just getting boring now. Yet again, we’ve battered the opposition and yet again we come away with fuck all. My patience is really wearing thin. Honestly don’t know what else to do now I really don’t. We set up well in every game, almost every game we play we have dominated the stats and almost every game we play we end up losing, it would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic. I’m at the end of my tether with the way it’s happening time and time again. It’s not just this season, it happened a large proportion of last season as well. This can’t even out as it’s happened so often.

bolox result yet again. Another unjustly to add to the massive list we have had so far this season too.

        Barnsley 1-4 Newcastle

“completely over countering and conceding first. Things are not working recently, so it’s time to go to our back up plan if we want to stay in this division. Being in the bottom 3 currently is clearly not the aim. Quality wise we are sometimes struggling to match it with our opponents - yet this game’s stats were more even than the score line suggested. Back to the drawing board again”. GG Newcastle

          Chelsea 1 - 1 Stoke City

Firstly, Chelsea are levels above us in stats and they can feel aggrieved by the stats that they didn’t take all 3 points.

We stayed solid though and took the lead through the departing Muniesa. We couldn’t keep the home side out though and they equalised. Fortunately though we held out and kept that precious point.

We need to keep picking up points and mov away from our inevitable relegation fight.

Chelsea will come good and I wish them well in the next games.

Good game Andy, your side deserved more from the game. Chuffed with a point!

            Sheffield United 4 - 4 Aston Villa

A game that had everything, thrills and spills, lots of goals, Kamikaze defending, missed penalties and a last gasp leveller. This one definitely a spectators dream but a managers nightmare. It has to be said credit to Sheffield United for taking this game to Aston Villa and for a large part of the game it looked like the home side was going to take the three points. The goals just never stopped coming and after taking an early 2-0 lead the home side pegged back a little by half time with the teams going in at 2-1 to The Blades. Second half chances a plenty rained down on this game and the home team stretched their lead to 4-1 even missed a penalty and looked set to take all the points. Villa though somehow pulled the game back and it was a last gasp equaliser from Martinez that meant both sides took a well deserved point.

              Arsenal 2 - 1 Norwich City

              A much needed three points over Norwich City was just what the Manager would have wanted after the defeat to West Ham in the last round but t its not enough just yet to stop the pressure building on the under performing Arsenal Manager. A double from Chiesa who has started the season well capped off a decent performance overall for The Gunners and a clean sheet was in sight before they conceded late on but a valuable win pleased the boss who spoke after the game ;

" It was hardly a classic really but we had a job to do and managed to do it. Pleased with the performance and Id have been happier with a clean sheet but we couldn't hold on for that. In all honesty we should be winning these sort of games, so far we have struggled to do so but today , we saw an improvement in the performance, a couple of players have increased in skill so a good day for once ".,

                Sheffield Wednesday 2-2 MANCHESTER UNITED

Another bad game but this time I'm pretty angry. It was a one sided game and our failure to hold onto a lead, twice today and even last week, is not good enough. We're not in a crisis scenario, but it might be a case of looking to make some changes because we're capable of a lot more this season than we have shown.

We've got 2 more huge games this week, and our form needs to improve.

                  Hammers 2 - 3 Spurs

What an intense game. There was five goal in it and a red card. Marcus Thuram got the home side in front in the 18th minute but we managed to level the score six minutes later through Nicola Barella. Sadly we lost Youssef En-Nesyri through a red card after only half an hour played and we had to play the last hour with ten men.

Somehow we managed to keep up with the home side and played a great football game. It was 1-1 at half time but we strucked first in the second half when Juan Forlin scored. But this time it was the home side who got back in the game through Julian Brandt. 2-2 and all to play for in the last half an hour of the game.

We didn’t settle for a point and won the game when Romain Faivre found Mohammed Kudus from a corner kick. Kudus made it look easy when he sent us 3-2 up. It was all about hanging on to the lead the last minutes of the game and thanks to a massive team effort we secured a quality win away from home.

                  Well played Todd.

                    Leicester 1-0 Brighton

I'd love to say this was a fantastic performance, and the continuation of a bit of a revival, but in reality, we got lucky, again
We tried a bit of a European approach, but switched it around to Passing at half-time when nothing much was happening.
Brighton led the stats in all departments, bar yellow cards!
Super sub 14 rated Wind was the hero again, coming on at the death to nick the injury time winner, delighted, but I'm sure Peter will be gutted, soz dude.
The Star was keeper Areola with 13 saves, who now leads the saves list, but surely that just means we have the worse defence?
Up into the respectable zone, but under no illusions we are good enough

                      Chelsea 1 - 1 Stoke City

An extremely one sided match this one, in Chelseas favour. Im at a loss to know how we didnt win it,with home advantage, tactical advantage, and a far superior roster, but some how Stoke clawed a point out of this match. An honest assessment by the Stoke manager at least confirms my thoughts, and Im not going mad, or am I. After a blistering start to this campaign we have slowed right down to a snails pace, so somethings got to change. I can feel a sale coming on.Well done mate you got away with that one.

                        Liverpool 4-0 Crystal Palace

Well we've certainly come back down to Earth with a bump. Another thrashing but was it really deserved? Liverpool had many more shots but I don't really see how when we were countering and had a 5 man defence. Another poor result and one that leaves me scratching my head. I was close to leaving the game during the season break and results like this don't really fill me with confidence for the season.

                          Liverpool 4 - 0 Palace

                          "A power spike"

I was not expecting this game to be a cake walk as Palace are a decent side, however we somehow dominated the game from start to finish and Palace never seemed like getting into the game, a top performance sees our key players in the form of Denayer, Munir and McNeil rate up and at a very crucial time where we hope to get a win in the DPT. Chin up Lee, you will definitely get a good run!

                            Man City 3 - 2 Everton

Picture the scene 2-1 down, 18 minutes left and just been reduced to 10 men. Needing a goal it's a surprise to see Ruben Dias stripped ready to come on, when the board goes up and it's no.47 Foden shown, the crowd can't help let their feelings known with a loud boo. There was even a small contingent singing "You dont know what you're doing" aimed at the dug out. Lovell stands in his technical area smiling. A few minutes later the main man Kane loses his defender and you just know hes putting it away to equalise. The games now all City with Everton having to defend like crazy. Lovell not intent with the draw moves Grealish up front and also asks Bernado to play further forward, City are gonna push for the winner. With a man down is this crazy?? It seems so when in the 90th minute Everton defender Cedric beats his man and fires at goal, it looks in however Ederson shows why hes one of the best in the world with a tremendous save. Has he rescued a point for City? The balls cleared away and Stones has the ball out wide, he crosses the ball in and Vlahovic announces himself to the City fans with a brave diving header that finds the bottom corner. Absolute scenes the whole dug out iss on the pitch, there's limbs everywhere in the stands, they have won it with the last kick of the game. The Everton lads are slumped over they are absolutely gutted. The full time whistle goes and Lovell stands in the centre circle, arms out stretched as 110 thousand fans sing his name.

Managers comments after the game "How fuckin good am I??? YEAH!!!!!"
