Arsenal 2 - 3 West Ham United

The Gunners slipped up once again to taste defeat once more, this time at the hands of West Ham United. Come the end of the season, Arsenal will look back at the first handful of games with disappointment at a points return that should be so much more than they currently have. Goals from Correa and Dybala were not enough to send The Hammers back to East London with nothing and the poor start for the Reds continue.

The Manager spoke after the game ;

" We need to be beating sides like these if Im honest, newly promoted sides once again causing us problems like we have seen this season already. Something is wrong but we will strive to rectify it and get back to wining ways and points on the table before we get caught in a position we don't want to be in ".

Aston Villa 1 - 2 Southampton

Villa are always a hard team to play especially when there on form and havnt lost all season so i did go into this game hoping for a point and would have been happy.
Im never really surprised when we go 1 down why it happens all the time i dont know, but i can see sort of why in this game and that would be villa having the tactical advantage as we may have become predictable with are starting tactic but the change when going 1 down worked a treat and looking at the stats think we were probably the right winners just on the amount of chances we created and abit of luck with the late goal its always a sucker punch.

Unlucky Ian and good luck for the season sure youll be up the top somewhere come end of season.
