BONANZA OPEN!!
A first defeat of the season for Aston Villa who were perhaps caught out somewhat by their opponents aproach. The game set off as most would have expected with The Saints trying to hit on the counter but the home side taking an early lead. It was at that point Southampton rather unexpectedly switched tactic and as a result grew into the game eventually winning it with a late strike. Lessons to be learned without a doubt for the losing manager.
We picked up our second win of the season while the visiting Reds suffered their first loss of the campaign.
But it was the away side who got off to the better start when Munir gave them an early lead. A tough start for us but we managed to regroup and had over 80 minutes to turn the game around. And we did exactly that.
Half way through the first half Niklas Süle came one v one against André Onana, rounded him and leveled the score. Ten minutes later Ibrahim Sangare scored his second in as many games when he completed a great comeback.
There was plenty of chances to make the score bigger but the third didn’t come. Our solid defensive play helped us in the second half and the two goals scored in the first half was good enough to win the game.
Absolutely Brilliant we needed a good win like this as we try keep within the top half of the division goals.from Mbappe and Rebic and another 2 goals for our super Defender Aguerd since listing this guys he's just been exceptional let's hope he can keep it up but he's like having a third striker really happy with how things our going so far just want to try keep it up and hopefully we will.have a decent season good game with Sheff United good game all best for future matches pal.
I am so disappointed with this result and for so many reasons. We have just given the Foxes their first win of the season after we have had such a great start and it really wasn't deserved. We had many more chances and more on target, more possession etc. etc. etc. We had tactical advantage blah blah blah. I'm not really sure we could have done much more but not only have we been defeated but we have been thrashed at home. I'm not impressed.
Good result to be fair. We actually played well and actually got a decent result when we actually played well!
We used C for the first time this season, was very close to going all out with A but decided against it at the last minute.
Good side are Man u and Stevo is a good manager. Always a good point away at old trafford so we will happily take that.
Really bloody need to start getting some wins though and moving up that table. UCL has to be a minimum this season.
Played Steve, cheers

Boom, finally a win! As Lee said, a little against the run of play, but we were more clinical on the day, and the shots on target count was pretty similar, but our keeper had a better game than theirs, which was the deciding factor.
I expected the C, but decided to risk a P anyway, given not much else has worked this season!
Palace were flying high, so a bit of a surprise, but hey, maybe we've turned a corner, fingers crossed.
Apols for the error, I didn't update my roster, and we got away with a dodgy sub striker.
unlucky dude.
We just edged this game, but another sending off did us no favours at all. Sendings off and injuries are already plaguing our season and its totally out of my control, frustrating to say the least. Both goals came in the first 12 minutes in this game and I think we did well to hang on under the circumstances. We'll done, good game mate.
An amazing result against a fellow promoted team. Anthony has done an amazing job getting auto promotion and has a great team. I felt we had to take it too him and Barnsley to get a positive result.
Both sides created a lot of chances but in the end we were very fortunate that the away sides keeper had to go off. Who knows if we could have scored if he didn’t.
A second win in a row gives us a great platform to build on to keep up and I’m hoping a few tweaks in the team will enable us to keep picking up points.
“A crucial game. Luck didn’t go our way with our top rated goalkeeper coming off after about 39 minutes. At 0-0. We then let Stoke have far too many shots on goal. Their forward line is quite strong so was only time before they took the lead. We grabbed a late consolation. I feel a win in this game was vital if we want to stay up. Long way to go though. Good game mate all the best”
Newcastle United can be dangerous and Chris Banks is a very unpredictable manager. He proved once again to be able to come up with a surprise tactics. We hadn´t expected an Attacking tactics at all and were countered for the majority of the match. However, Sommer had a great math with 9 saves and Guedes managed to score a late winner.
We were going on an absolute high for the last few weeks, winning, drawing and no sign of losing. However our luck has definitely run out, but not to bothered since we didn't deserve to really win. We took the lead and we should have converted too a more defensive formation.. we didn't and hence I sound salty now, but the game is the game. Spurs deserved to win and now our focus is on the next game
MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 Leeds United
Not good enough, but I don't think either team was that great. We thought Leeds would continue their passing game so gambled on the tactical advantage set up approach. Disappointing to throw the lead but a fair result all around.
Not doing a usual PMR having just got back from A&E but needed to get something in ASAP.
We expected Norwich to possible park the bus and defend for their lives. However they went with a counter attacking style, which allowed us time to shift the ball around and prise them open. They held out for almost the whole of the first half, but a piece of brilliance from Grealish broke the deadlock in the 39th min. Another 2 in a min right on half time secured the 3 points. With no pressure on in the second half I told the lads to go fill their boots. When we scored in the 47th min ii thought we were in for a cricket score. We only managed 1 more but there was plenty of chances created by the lads. So a good day at the office in a pretty routine run out.
We were taken apart in this one, we were absolutly shocking not enough forward drive to even try take anything from the game and little attempt to go for goal, they were in control from the very begining and held it all game deservedly scoring 4 times along the way. Its going to be a long season for us i think but theres still so much time left for it to change, on to the next one.
