    Newcastle United 0 - 1 Stoke City

With Martinez out in midfield I thought I’d be bold away from home and throw caution to the wind.

Newcastle are a great side, I seem to say this about every team in the Prem, however Chris has created a class side and we had to be very tight at the back, Something we’ve not been all season to get anything from this game.

The stats show we were put under immense pressure, but our keeper and defence held strong and Hamsik who maybe on the verge of leaving the club snatched all 3 points for us. In 5 games we’ve lost 1 but drawing too many can leave you chasing points at the end of the season. A win here gives us a platform, but the home side played some great stuff and deserved more from the game. We rode our luck, I feel we’ll need a lot more to stay up.

Great game Chris, you deserved more from this game. Good luck in your next games!

      Foxes 2 - 2 Spurs

A tight affair where we edged the stats but was one who got lucky with a very late goal. We opened the score through Lucas Moura and was a goal up at half time.

Andrea Belotti and Jonas Wind turned the game around for the home side and Wind’s goal in the 85th minute looked like the winner. But subtitute Ben Brereton Diaz saved a point for us with the last kick of the evening. Another draw, that’s three in five games.

      Well played Neil.

        Barnsley 0-0 Brighton

“we went into this game with a unique plan to play L, something we’ve never done before at Barnsley. We created far more chances with the away side not having one shot on goal, however no one could score and that’s been our problem this season. Brighton are a solid and well managed side so we will take the point and move on to our next game against Stoke City desperate for a better showing. “

Gg mate. Sorry about L lol

Southampton 0 - 3 Blackburn Rovers A fantastic result for us against a good side we had to change the way we play due to Ward_prowse being injured and go five at the back but we seemed to performed our best with this new formation so this could be the newcway we play in the future its something were gunna explore for sure but again beating saints by 3-0 was a very big result for us and hopefully we can go ok to beating more teams unlucky jks good game.

            Burnley 0-2 Aston Villa

A brace from the Villa front man Mo Salah, one early on in the game and one approaching the the end was the difference between these two teams. It was a day when Aston Villa made the most of their efforts on goal forcing the Burnley goalkeeper into numerous saves as no fewer than 10 out of 11 shots on goal by the away team found the target. Its fair to say that Burnley also troubled the Aston Villa goal but it was the away side that just about kept control of the game. Manager Ian Greaves was more than pleased with his teams efforts today reminding them that Turf Moor is a very difficult place to come too and pick up a positive result.

              Sheffield United 0-7 MANCHESTER UNITED

Almost the perfect game, knowing that they had some key players missing we decided to just throw everything at them and it worked a treat. That said, Sheffield had their own chances and the score suggests a wider game than it actually was. We had some great performances here, 3 players bagging a brace is pleasing and even more so, we keep a rare cleansheet.

Reporter "Saka was on a different planet today, any comments on his performance?"

Yep, exceptional and we felt that as the game went on he could get even higher up the pitch and play as a 3rs attacker which gives us food for thought. But it also created gaps for Valverde to get forward too and you can see his impact today too.

"If he keeps this kind of performance up he can achieve big things at the club."

                Liverpool 3 - 1 Arsenal

                "Rise of the Liverbird"

The Gunners travelled to Anfield with hope in their hearts after a 5-0 pounding of Leicester City, that hope almost turned into reality as they took a 0-1 lead, however a stellar team performance crushed any chance of an Arsenal win by scoring 3 unanswered goals in succession. We are fighting with the big boys and there seems to be no logical explanation as to how this is happening, but Hamza says it's team spirit, courage, and a will to win. Which no other team can match in this climate.

                  Chelsea 0-2 Crystal Palace

If only this was the real result yesterday. I wasn't expecting this against second placed Chelsea but the stats suggest we had some fortunate to take all three points. It was an early goal that dictated this game which was scored by Chelsea with a bad back pass. There were a couple of tactical changes and despite numerous chances for the home side they couldn't level. It was then a second and deciding goal in the second half that meant we move back up the table into a surprising 4th position after a great start. It was great to see new signing Passaic on the score sheet too.

                    Leicester 2-2 Spurs

Ooh, so close to our first Premiership win, just that last minute kick in the nuts to bring it back to the draw.
A better performance from the lads, but still didn't have the overall stats advantage, so will take a draw even if it's not what we were hoping for.
Ex-loanee Forlin set up Moura for a Spurs goal to take the lead, and it wasn't until we went for it we got the second half goals, including a surprise first goal for low rated striker sub Wind.
Maybe it's a stepping stone to better things?... maybe not, but good game Edward.

                      Leeds 0-3 Everton

absolite dog shit performance from my bunch of useless under-performers. Day off cancelled, back into training tomorrow. Every one of them will be in my office to explain how they can be so good on paper and so shit in a game like this.
all of that said, again stats wise we were propbably the better side, worth a minimum of a draw but as per we do not get what we deserve.
if my keeper plays like that again I’ll recall the 18 rater. He may aswel get injured again. Fucking useless.

                        Burnley 0 - 2 Aston Villa

This was a tactical gamble which went once again wrong. We were quite sure Villa would play either Counter attacks or Passing. Expected them to be more cautions and play C, so we wanted to fully exploit the boosted EvC bonus. However, Ian decided to play passing and our plan had no chance. On paper our squad power were quite equal and we had the benefit of three solid subs. In practice Villa, without any subs used, managed to create more chances and scored twice. No goal is of course an dissapointment as well as poor performance in the midfield. We need to get sorted out before our next match against Liverpool on Tuesday.

                        Well played Ian.

                          Man City 5 - 0 West Ham

About time we gave our fans at the Etihad a performance to get excited about. Another game with early goals to settle the nerves, and to throw West Ham off there gameplan. After the first goal in the 3rd min they decided to throw caution to the wind and went gung ho, trying to get back into the match. However we remained composed and picked them off with ease. 4 up before half time and cruising we switched to an attacking strategy for the second half. We created an incredible amount of chances today and West Hams keeper making 12 saves kept the score in single figures. We will face sturner tests this season but we need to fill our boots when these opportunities arise.

                          Good Game Todd

                            Liverpool 3 - 1 Arsenal

The Gunners couldn't follow up the win in the last round to make it back to back wins and were sent back to North London on the back of a 3-1 defeat. It certainly wasn't the worst that Arsenal have played this season and on another day their performance would have seen them take something but despite taking the lead via Dest who got his first for the club, it was the home side that ran out winners on the day.

                            The Arsenal boss spoke briefly about the defeat ;

" Not ideal, far from it really and we sit here scratching our heads as to how we lost that really. I think we were more than good enough to take a point from that. After a few seasons of struggle for the bin dippers, Hamza certainly looks like hes getting hold of that side and them sitting top of the table, we can only applaud the job he is doing there. From our point of view, we need to get back to basics and stat getting points before we are cut adrift ".

                              Sheff utd 0-7 Man Utd

We were missing 2 key players for this one, and they arent a team you want to come up against when your team isnt at its strongest. The scoreline would suggest that we were dominated for 90minutes but the states paint a much different story, all of that however is irrelevant when they thouroughly outscored us we can use the 2 missing players as an excuse they simply played to win and did just that in astounding fashion
