    MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 Southampton

I think this was out best performance of the season and to come away with just a point, well it's a but disappointing because we did everything right but our finishing wasn't to scratch. The boys did well, kept going and gave their all but it's a sore one for sure and lessons need to be learned.

Reporter. "You said finishing was the issue, whats the answer to that problem then?"

I'm not sure, we'll review as always, and maybe we need to tweak our approach and set to get the right players in the right areas. We'll see over the coming weeks.

Reporter. "Is that in reference to Saka's close range miss"

Min. 87 (mnu) B_Saka beats his marker ... It looked like he pushed his marker ... "Play On!" waves The Referee ... B_Saka with the shot on net! ... Jose_Sa gets a hand to it!! ... But he picks up the rebound ... OHHHHHHHH!! ... He's put it over

All I'll say is he was unlucky, another day it's the winner.

      Everton 3-2 Sheff utd

We failed to show up today, team was planned in a rush and we paid the price heavily, how we scored twice i dont know, minimal shots never mind shots on target think the lads forgot the whole point of the game is to win. We need to find our feet soon and get some stability, dissapointed about another red card and to one of our best players too but all that aside everton where the better side they created few real chances themselves but made the most of them and controlled the game really, they deserved the win.

        Stoke City 1 - 1 Burnley

Another draw but definitely something to build on. Stats wise it was an even affair apart from possession, but Burnley are a great side and this was probably expected.

We had to come from behind again, but after conceding early we battled and was able to get our point via captain and MOTM Forsberg scoring from the spot.

We’ve had 3 home games and managed 3 points. If we’re to survive we need these to be wins. Hopefully a few transfers will help with that. But we’re difficult to beat which is a start.

        Well played Simon good game!

          Blackburn Rovers 1 - 1 Aston Villa

A somewhat bad tempered affair at Ewood Park saw two players limping off the park within just three minutes of the kick off. Villa manager Ian Greaves was fuming when his recent signing the youngster Florian Wirtz was left in agony following a fierce challenge and now looks set to miss the next game against Burnley. The game did eventually settle down a bit and in a close encounter it was Aston Villa who nudged ahead via the penalty spot again following a crude challenge. The home teams leveller came in the second half, a goal that again left Greaves fuming only this time with his defenders as they failed to pick up the Rovers man ghosting in at the back post to give both sides a share of the spoils.

            Spurs 1 - 1 Blues

We had every chance of overcoming the visitors after getting TA from the start. We had a good first half and had more than enough chances to get the opening goal but it all changed when Mohammed Kudus brought down Aaron Wan-Bissaka when he broke through our defence. The red card came out of the referees pocket and we had to play second half with ten men.

The away side controlled the second half and got themselves in front after an hour played when Odsonne Edouard scored from a header. It looked like we was heading for a loss but two minutes before full time we won us a point thanks to a great volley from Ibrahim Sangare. Decent result but the red card made it very difficult for us.

            Well played Andy.

              Manchester City 1 - 2 Liverpool

              "We are never gonna stop!"

6 games played till now, 6 games without a defeat. Eyebrows were raised in the start of the season when we opted for 3 defenders and 3 DMs, but it's definitely paying dividends. Possession numbers were fairly even considering we are probably slightly better than half of City, we had lower shooting numbers but a better on goal % by a distance which was the deciding factor in the end. A_Silva is the standout player in the entire FFO-verse with 4 MotM in 6 games. Massive player and spearheading the side to new heights.

Blackburn Rovers 1 - 1 Aston Villa Well we managed to hold the league leaders to a 1-1 draw great point for us as on paper we should be beaten and a goal from.Aguerd the guy who's been made available from ourselves maybe it's time we give the guy a chance see if he starts performing better and prowse off after 1st min with injury lets hope its not serious but again great point and hope we can maybe start converting draws to wins in the future good game ian.

                  Crystal Palace 3-1 Barnsley

Sorry for the errors. I did a new sheet and I think my eyesight is going! The change in tactics and formation paid off as we matched Barnsley and then some. We took the lead but the Tykes pegged us back almost instantly as we tried to counter them but two more goals put us too far in front and we were able to take all three points. It was a good game and the first time I have managed to use the Euro style effectively. Maybe we'll consider playing this way again.

                    Spurs 1 Chelsea 1

Despite the sending off for the hosts we could not take advantage, so thats our fault really. We were the better side overall and should have picked up the 3 points, but it was not to be. Good to see O_Edouard continue his goal scoring form, but it was only good enough for a point on the day. We need to improve if we are the be considered title contenders, but a long way to go. Good game Ed, and best of luck for the seasons mate.

                      Norwich 1 - 5 Leeds

not much different in terms of performance and stats to our other games this season but on this occasion we haven’t had an injury to our keeper or a red card and remarkably only had one suspension to deal with. It’s nice to not get screwed over once in a while.
Fully deserved our win and the margin of it given our dominance.
my keeper is available next game so we will be back at full strength. Need to keep milking these abs to get a few rated up that aren’t far off. Think it’s Everton next. Hopefully we smash them.

                      cheers steve

                        Crystal Palace 3-1 Barnsley

“First, congrats to Palace who are led by a fine manager. We came into this thinking squad wise and form wise we were in with a real shout of 3 points. But, the lads didn’t show up. A real garbage performance which doesn’t bode well for our next run of games. We have performed well until this point and it’s crucial we focus and work hard as we battle to stay in the division.”

                          Arsenal 5 - 0 Leicester City

Arsenal got their first win of the season and it came at the fourth time of asking as they thrashed The Foxes 5-0 at The Emirates Stadium. After what can only be described as a horror first three games by The Gunners, the win was very much needed and saw the club perform a lot better than they have been so far.

                          The Boss spoke after the game ;

" A massive win, big score line and a clean sheet is just what we needed today. Really pleased to see both Dybala and Chiesa get in on the goals too. A big defeat for the vistors, perhaps the Managers heads has been swayed with reports that he has applied for another job in Europe I don't know but with both sides near the foot of the table, it was the three points that we wanted and we played well enough to finally get our first win. A few players nearing increases which we really need to happen quick but today, we are delighted with a big win to get our season started ".

                            Arse 5-0 Foxes

'What a pile of shite' was the travelling fans general view on this match, and who can blame them.
Leicester started C v C, but Arsenal had much more skill and fight on the day, and it was an easy win for them.
Powell, Dunk and Marusic were the only players to come out of the game with any credit, the rest may as well have stayed on the bus.
Fair play to Darren's Arsenal, they are a strong side, and should be up there or thereabout come end of season.
So 4 poor league performances so far, and in the bottom two, the only way is up!, well actually no, they could be bottom next week!

                              Man City 1-2 Liverpool

We made a dream start taking the lead in the 6th minute through Harry Kane, but then a tactical blunder by the boss, may of cost City the 3 points. We sat back and let Liverpool back into the game instead of going for the second. Fair play to Liverpool they never gave up and took their chances when they came. I've told the lads we need to go up a couple of geard and find some more fight, it's a new season now and we need to stamp our authority on the table.

                              Well played Hamza
