Southampton 3 - 1 Everton
Best performance so far against the best team weve played, its also the first game weve come away with less possession. I feel we won this game comfortably against a good team going 3 up but it seems we cant keep clean sheets which is something we'll have to try and sort out otherwise it will cost us points against the smaller teams which we should beat and theyll be the key wins come end of the season.

Leicester City 0-2 Manchester City

We came up against the great wall of Leicester today. We rode our luck in the early stages, with VAR confirming no penalty in the first minute of the match which would of really changed the complexion of the game. New signing Vlahovic opened his scoring account in the 16th minute following up on his own shot that hit the post. We scored a second just before halftime that wrapped up the game as a contest really. The second half was a decent game of footy but i felt we should of scored a couple more.

Lovells verdict on the game "After our shocking defensive performance against Chelsea, I have had the lads in doing extra training. So i was delighted that we kept a clean sheet. We will face tougher opposition than today but its still good for the lads confidence. I was also delighted for Dusan scoring his first goal for us. He's worked hard in the opening fixtures without reward, so its good to lose that monkey off his back."
