BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
"What an absolute travesty from the officials today." Outten ranted after the game. "How, and I mean, how, was that penalty not given, it's a stone waller."
"The game was a tight affair from two top teams, and to be honest Villa can count their chickens. But when the officials don't do their job properly it feels like a lob sided game, the lads played well, picked our moments and caused an experienced Villa a lot of problems and it's great to see the young players growing and thriving at their opportunity to play top level football, but they're hurting and I feel for them."
Reporter: "Mo Salah had a great game for Villa, he was the difference, do you agree with that"?
"Well, he scored two goals, so yeah he did his job as a front man, and we didn't contain him pin the early parts of the game but even so, had we been given the penalty, would he have got two? Probably not!"
This is a big disappointment. We got our tactics right and were clearly outplaying Blackburn for most of the game. However, we only scored one goal out of nine shots on goal. A few minutes before the end of the game, a punishment came and we lost two points.
We need to stop loosing points to teams like Blackburn in our home matches and we definately need to work on our attacking efficiency.
A point against a great Brighton side is something we will take. We were solid at the back but created nothing.
We will need to make some changes. Personally I’m thinking a change in each position is a must. I’m thinking a swaps for Arias, Hamsik and Goncalves maybe needed to get more mains in and less seconds to tip the balance and fight relegation.
Maybe feel lucky getting a point with how good the away side are and then them creating more.
the photo says it all. This season has continued game after game to repeat the kind of fortune we had last season. It never fails to surprise the new ways we get fucked over in each game.
absolutely batter the shite out of them but of course we lose.
3 goals conceded from on loan Ortega on his debut and his -30 abs compared to West Ham’s keepers 120 abs tells another story.
Looking forward to the next fresh way we get bent over and dry humped by the engine.

We spoke to Harris shortly after the result. "An incredible result against a Champions League team and a wonderful manager. Firstly, I would like to single out James Maddison for a truly epic all-round performance. His stats are here (shows media piece of paper) J_Maddison AM 1 5 17 13 24 | 97 0 3 4 1 3 1 0 0 0 105 83 68. But, the whole side rallied together, Solanke opens his account off the bench and gives me some selection headaches for our next game as Delort has yet to hit the back of the net in his 4 starts for the club this season.
We slightly shaded the stats, and with a goal disallowed too, I think we were very good value for our first win in the premier league. It is clear our aim is survival and despite our good start, there is a long way to go. Good game Spurs".
Mo Salah finally comes to the party.. First of all I have to say this was an extremely close encounter and with both sides prepared to sit deep and hit on the break it was the Aston Villa front man Mo Salah that stole the show. The Egyptian Magician has by his standards had a quiet start to the new campaign but today the United defence simply couldn't handle the front mans pace as he netted a brace, his first goals of the new season. When asked about the comments from the Manchester United manager who claimed his team were robbed by the match officials, Greaves had this to say. "Just a bit of sour grapes if you ask me. Make no mistake, I have a lot of respect for Steve Outten but on this occasion the man has allowed his emotions to run away with him. Yes there was a few tasty tackles from both teams today but on the whole I thought the referee allowed the game to flow in the best way he possibly could. As for the penalty appeal there was equal amounts of shirt pulling going off by both players involved before the United front man took a clear dive. I'm just pleased the referee as well as the video assistant saw through such an antic".
Liverpool have not been dominant in terms of possession in the past few games, 1 game at home and 2 played away but the % of of possession has been in the favour of The Reds. We however cannot translate this dominance into goals, shooting numbers are clearly in our favour as well but it wasn't meant to me. A_Silva has yet again perfomed at an exceptional level, winning 3 MoTM in 4 apperances. Our focus is now on City and hopefully toppling the giants they are.
The first London derby for Arsenal this season saw them well and truly beaten at Stamford Bridge. The home side were by far the better out of the two sides and it was no surprise to see them nearly win 3-1 until Chiesa popped up with a late consolation. Chelsea never really looked troubled and all in all, a good win for the homes side.
The Arsenal boss spoke after the game ;
" Three games in and although the first two we can have a little feel of disappointment with, we really have nothing but frustration after today. We set up tactically right but our performance was poor and we were soundly beaten. One point from a possible nine is far from acceptable and we need to get our season off and running before we get stuck in a position we struggle to get out of. The only real plus being that Chiesa scored his first for the club but apart from that, a poor display by my side ".

Another good win against a quality side and manager. This cannot carry on so we will enjoy whilst we can. Debut boy Richarlison helped himself to a brace and man of the match award as Chelsea hit three against a quality Gunners side. Although we conceded a late goal we cannot complain at all. A word for the stand in goal-keeper Mr Butz,"Wow" a 17 rate goal-keeper now turned 18 rate has been outstanding against some of the best sides in the game, and has really turned my head firmly in his direction as to a possible starter in the future. I think Simon the regular keeper better step up, starting against Manchester City in the Champions League. Good game mate, Im sure your luck will turn soon.
Yeah, that went as expected. I went wussy with a D, and 5 at the back, but that only lasted 16 minutes before the obvious class of City told and they scored. At least we kept it decent, who knows what might have happened if we had been more adventurous, though my betting is a heavier defeat!
Dunk and Kante had decent games, but it was like City V Bognor Regis
Not a great start to the season, but that was to be expected with the step up in skills to face.
Time for the players to step up or get out
Only another strong side to face next, in Arsenal/Gillingham
Our first 3 points of the season and we certainly made sure the points were ours, decided to play a risky formation and go all out attacking in the hopes of over powering Norwich and grabbing a few goals, 20 shots on target to their 12 i think its safe to say it was an active game. 5 different scorers and a hell of a lot of abs gained across the squad. Delighted to have picked up that first win and now to look forward again to the next game and be ready for what ever comes our way
Pretty poor performance from our point of view but the home side did ever so well in neutralizing us. All three goals came very late in the halfs. One in the first, two in the second.
The first fourty-five was an even affair and the game was there for the taking. Sadly for us it was the host who got the opening goal three minutes into added time through James Maddison.
Second half was all about getting back into the game but we never came close. Dominic Solanke settled the game with his goal in the 91st minute and it was of no matter when Youssef En-Nesyri scored a consulation goal three minutes later.
Not our day but oh so close. We took the lead and then had to come back to level in the second half. Unfortunately we weren't able to hold on for a point and the Magpies grabbed an 89th minute winner. While we shaded possession we weren't the better side by some way and we can't really complain about the final result. After a good start to the season we drop drastically and need to bounce back quickly.
