If everyone blind bid then I still think for the most part the same players would go to the same people (just for potentially higher values).

The clubs with the biggest balances will more often than not be the big clubs. That's just the way of the world.. If we go with blind binds and cut out collusion, the reason I originally said just 1 minute to bid from the release of each player, then we increase the chance of the bigger balances bidding on the same player with one of them missing out.

Im sure those who got a good deal will probably think it was a great idea and those who didnt or didnt even take part probably think it wasnt a good idea, I think anyone coming out the woodwork at this stage saying that they're unhappy because it quite clearly favoured the big balances my response would be welcome to the conversation, this has been something ive been saying for weeks, it was always going to be the case, if you only have 2 bids and Man City or PSG go in for that player, well then unless your only plan is to drive others prices up (which no ones going to do) then you arent going to bid on that player are you, everyone can see eachothers balances and when you see these teams have 500 mil plus or whatever, you arent in your right mind going to bid against them if youve only got 100.

I watched the whole thing on Twitch and i thought it ran really smoothly and i said to JB after that it was a great idea to try and modernise the game a bit more, but we have a community thats impossible to satisfy on the whole and people will always have against and for views with whatever we try and i think thats what makes this game great with all the different strong characters, id personally write this one up to a we tried something different, the fat cats got fatter which doesnt really help the game and reevalute/back to the old auction style going forward.

This is the way that i thought it would work, and if there were 2 BBs then the starting price was 5m above the losing BB. In hindsight glad i attended the live auction and didnt BB

i did think this as well from my understanding thats what was to happen was blind bids would go up in increments until the blind bidder reached max value, when i seen that 300m max off the bat part of me went fucking hell

Not sure how balances can’t be hidden, there must be a way to only be able to access it if your the manager of the team, it would make auctions more random, no collusion, no pre planning tactical bids unless of course you keep track of these things which if you do that amount of work deserve to know

Which you get in real life anyway, the only one doing the finances is Jon, i think ti would be better this way, a small portal with a login maybe, cant be hard to do ?

Hidden balances i think briungs something i dont ever recall seeing on ESMS

Be nice if transfer confirm board transfer values was hidden, only viewable by JB. More dodgy deals might get through but less moaning in discord also lol and nobody would have an idea on balances.

Hidden balances are not the way to go for me, they have always been on view and that shouldn't be changed to fix a separate issue. Priority has to be finding a way to get the big balances potentially bidding against each other.

Have 3 bids instead of 2.

With 2 bids, you can't waste a bid. I'd have loved to have pushed up PSG on Rice, and would have emptied the clip and paid my balance or forced PSG to go above my balance but I couldnt afford to be left with 1 bullet with 2 other higher balances still around with 2 bullets.

having 3 would allow for some more lee way and speculative bidding
