I really liked the format for the new auction but there was obviously issues with the outcome. Just throwing out an idea to possibly improve things, feel free to poo poo the idea lol.
Keep the format basically the same with a blind auction for those who cannot attend the live but then with a different twist when it comes to the live auction. What I would suggest is that each manager can make one single blind bid within the live auction. Jon would release the players in the same way and then the managers decide whether they want to bid or not after each player can be viewed and have just 1 minute to do so. To bid you type your club and the amount of cash you want to bid, this would be sent to Jon as a direct message on Discord and then no one else would know who has bid on each player or how much. When all players have gone through the auction Jon then publishes the results. Any unsold players could possibly go into a second round. I would also make all bids a minimum 50% of your bank balance for everyone. Jon could make a bid before the auction starts, I’m sure we could find some way of verifying the bid.
