We showed our better side today despite trailing we reacted strongly to level the tie. We suffered a huge loss why Gyokeres went off injured and I did fear the worst for the game (he subsequently is now out for the season). But a quick transition to route one caught Villarreal out and the last remaining FW we have this season bagged what turned out the winner. The game died down after that and we held off to have the first leg advantage.

We are in no way safe, we have to go into the remaining play off game(s) without our main forward so we know we'll need some luck for sure but we will give it a go.

Really struggling for form now and despite starting strongly we gave up our one goal lead to lose. Will be a difficult game in the return leg and we will need to pull out a top performance to rescue the tie.
