Lyon 1-2 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

We made the play offs! Yes, one of the worst squads in the game made top 6!

We battered them on the day, countered them early and deserved lead. We made more chances but such is us we let in a late goal with one of our former players haunting us. We Shut up shop and allowed Lyon some late chances but clung on and snuck into that sacred 6th spot.

The big players stepped up today, Sudakov and Gyokeres in particular with the big goals but looking at the tie it was a true team effort with almost everyone having involvement in the tie.

We're delighted getting where we have and we're going to give it our best, if we have the chance to go up, we will and the extra finances are always welcome!
