        Watford 0 Liverpool 4

A no show from the Watford manager gifting us 3 points in the process which is unsatisfactory at the best of times but even more so at this vital stage of the season. Certainly not our fault and there have been a few T sheets in the Prem this season that other clubs have benefitted from....but yeah not good at all.

We have 2 home games next before our trip to Leeds and if we want to win the league then absolutely nothing less than 6 points will do

          Newcastle United 2 - 2 Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn are a tough team to beat these days since Ryan left them but we felt that we could play open, positive football and in the end Blackburn matched us as we both played P.

20 minutes in, we took the lead and switched to C to try to be harder to break down but despite holding TA, the visitors scored just a minute later to make it 1-1.

On 37 minutes the tie swung our way as C_Starfelt was shown a second yellow and Blackburn were down to 10 men.
Half time came and went and we didn’t press home our numerical advantage but things got worse for the visitors on 68 minutes as Fabian_Ruiz was also shown a second yellow and they were reduced to 9 men.

Obviously Blackburn took the lead 10 minutes later and we were now chasing the game.
With Blackburn switching to L it gave us TA and this time we took advantage as we made it 2-2 just three minutes after falling behind and that’s how the game ended.

Statistically we were the better team but that doesn’t seem to count for much these days.

Good game Tony, unsure what your issue is with Courtois.

            Chelsea 3 - 0 Sheffield Wednesday

With victories needed Marsh opted to freshen up the tactics in the hope it could bring the playing fields a little closer. The result was an easy win for Chelsea and with West Ham and Burnley winning Wednesday's fate is almost sealed. 7 points from safety The Owls must win their last three games.

To make matters worse Tierney got a last minute yellow card that rules him out for the remainder of the season.

Marsh commented "We had to try but the club is short of quality and a 20-9 shot count was always going to be asking for trouble. At the end of the day its been a hard slog for the side and the season needs closure. Its likely to be relegation and then the squad needs sorting out to give it a decent future".

              Spurs 1 Arsenal 1

Huge North London derby this and when Arsenal went 1-0 up it looked like a tall order but we came back and got an equaliser when they shut up shop and we went A. Probably not a result that helps either of us massively but cheers Darren gg

                Chelsea 3 - 0 Sheffield Wednesday

A relatively straight forward home victory over a Wednesday team that Marshy has made much tougher to beat than the Bradwell Boys. Nothing much more to say really, onto the next one.

                  Spurs 1 - 1 Arsenal

One the biggest fixtures in the season for both sides, The North London Derby was back upon Spurs and Arsenal locked horns for the second time this season with Spurs looking to revenge the defeat that Arsenal inflicted on them earlier in the season. Both sides sitting close in the table with three points being vital for both, despite both their efforts it was a point a piece and a share of the spoils as The Gunners let a goal lead slip to allow a late equaliser for the home side.

                  The Arsenal boss spoke after the game ;

" A huge game for both, the derby and after winning the first one, we knew that being away from home, they would be looking to do the job over us. Its always frustrating to allow a lead to slip away and after leading for long in the game, we had an eye on the win but Spurs have shown this season that you cant write them off and got the second goal which to be fair, they more than deserved. Tim is doing a fantastic job in his first season there and Im sure that a few more deals in the pre season and they will go from strength to strength ".

                  Played Tim.
