      Sheffield Wednesday 1 - 1 Southampton

With 5 games to go a wins needed the Owls would pit their wits against champions league chasing Southampton. Wednesday would have slightly the better of the game with a 12-8 shot count but Isak cancelled out Verons opener and the game ended 1-1.

Anxious wait for final scores elsewhere would breathe more life into the campaign. The gap has been reduced to 4 points now with 4 games still to play.

      The last four games are
      Chelsea (a)
      Barnsley (h)
      Liverpool (a)
      Everton (a)

Its not going to be easy on the road with probably 8 points needed to give the side a chance of staying up.

        West Ham 1 - 3 Chelsea

Good away win which moves us up into 7th place, only 6 points behind the leaders in what has been a very close premership season. Lamptey didn't make a tackle and still sits on 999 tackle abs which was annoying. Goretzka made good progress though, not being too far away from 16-23-18 after having a good game. We will aim to finish the season strong and see where that takes us.

          Leeds United 3 - 1 Newcastle United

A tough away trip and we didn’t show up. Leeds read us like a book and countered us from the start.

An early goal for the hosts on 17 minutes led to us switching to P but Leeds held their lead going into half time and shortly after the restart they doubled their advantage.

We went chasing the game and got ourselves back into it 2 minutes later but Leeds restored their 2 goal lead just 13 minutes later and went on to see the game out.

Statistically Leeds were the better team, creating more than us so they deserved the win. Good game Tim.

            Everton 0 Spurs 1

Been manic with work so apologies for lack of comms- fully expected a disappointing defeat here so mixed it up a bit and came away with a W. We’ve now got Arsenal H and Man C A, so it all boils down to this. Whatever happens we’ve exceeded expectations this season and looking forward to an exciting run in.

              Liverpool 2 Burnley 3

Not a good time to suffer back to back losses as we slip from top spot and give hope to a whole host of other clubs into the bargain. In truth we played pretty well in this one, created loads of chances but it was just one of those days when Burnley did more with less and were more clinical than us. A tough loss to stomach especially at this stage of the season but we've lost umpteen matches in a similar vein throughout the campaign. In truth losing 11 games out of 34 really isn't league winning form and in other seasons I'm sure we would be miles off the pace.

Have left ourselves with absolutely no room for error from here on in that's for sure. Still all to play for but unquestionably this result could end up proving very costly.

                Arsenal 2 - 2 Leicester City

With the run we have been on, winning our last five this was a game that we had to win really especially as we would have gone top of the tree and although we deserved more than the point that we picked up, we had to work and come from behind yet again to salvage a point. The goals coming from Schlotrbeck and Saka got the point which makes its sixteen points from a possible eighteen of late which is still really good form but we really needed the win from this as we have Spurs in the North London derby up next at their place.

                Played mate.

                  Aston Villa 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED

We lead and threw away another lead. We deserved the win in my opinion but I can't say I'm surprised to be truthful given it's become a trait of not holding leads. We did miss a big player again but even so, we can't comprehend how bad we've done at the back this season. It is a case of ifs and buts and the title is further and further out of reach game by game.

We'll just keep going and see what we can do.
