I’m writing to throw my hat in the ring for the Juventus managerial role. After some time away from the game, I’ve been waiting for the right club to make my return—and Juventus feels like the perfect fit.
Serie A has always been special to me, and Juventus stands out as one of the greatest clubs in football. The chance to lead this team, with its rich history and huge potential, is something I’d be excited to take on. Juventus were also the very first club I managed back in 2007 and I was in charge of them until they were renamed to Napoli to give Andy Banks Juventus on the FFO relaunch.
I’ve got plenty of experience in the game, from building squads to creating winning tactics, and I’m confident I can bring success to the club. Juventus is a team that deserves to be at the top, both in EFL 1 and in European competitions, and I’d love the opportunity to help make that happen.
I have been in ffo a while, but am probably somewhat a rookie compared to some of the old farts in the league LOL,
I have been with teams that are well and truly placed to end up mid table, work on a budget type teams.
managed them as well as I could, could I have done better, well couldn’t we all, but having taken teams to champions league and dpt consistently. Have I been a success, No.
I am my own worst critic and hate that I can’t win leagues and trophies, but that’s on me. And I hate that,
im not selfish or naive enough to think I have the right to win trophies, because there is always better man management within other teams.
my own personal goal is to push and test these managers, do I deserve Juventus. No, are there better candidates, obviously. Will I get Juventus. I doubt it. But my goal is to get to the top, I’m not going to do that on the budgets that all mid table sides are on.
have I beaten the big boys. Yes. All of them. Can I last the ride, who knows. But it would be good to try.
these jobs. Madrid, juve, city, psg, atleti. Etc etc etc only come along once or twice. So gotta be in it to win it.
ok villas results and positions haven’t been up to scratch but as I look at who was above me, I think I did well to be there.
Do I want to take juve, yes, do I wanna have a crack at psg, real, atleti and co, EFL is where I had most success, dragging a mediocre Lazio side up the table, now they are relegated, no dig intended, manager struggled.
so yes I’m an average manager, no I don’t dish the grief, no I don’t deal for fun, I put in the best I can with the best I have,
at some point this will get me to where I want to be.
These jobs come around once in a lifetime, and Ive thought long and hard about this one. Id like a top job in EFL1, and they dont come much better than this. I must say that Andy has made a grand job of Juventus and hes a fine manager. Berlin are apparently the most profitable club in ffo, which I find very pleasing to say the least. The building blocks are in place with 2 x ground extentions,2 x scouts and 2 x coaches to further develop their academy. Ive no doubt in the future with the right guidance they will grace the top league. On top of that we managed to win a cup last season which for Berlin is outstanding. If Im successful in this application, I would leave a club in a very good position with 35m in the bank to aid any future transfer business as well. So my names in the ring.
After sleeping on it, I feel selfish leaving County and caretaking Monaco. I’m not sure I had much of a chance but even a small chance means I will drop out and continue my work. Good luck to all applying!
