    All

Darren Bradwell sadly passed away over the weekend aged 57.

Not many people met Darren in person and he wasn't the most active member of the forum/discord. But I met Darren a few times in 2022, so I will give an insight into the man that he was.

Darren instantly commanded respect from everyone around him, he was a kind and generous man, he was funny, warm, caring and genuine. The word I used to describe him recently was "legend".
He was a committed father and husband.
His influence shows in the fact his two sons are successful, intelligent and well liked.

Darrens family have agreed that our fundraising efforts go to British Heart Foundation - please see the link below

Future tributes to Darren will be made in due course.

Further to the above I have decided to do the following to ensure Darren is not forgotten on the game and is remembered by a fitting tribute

      1. His team Celtic will be passed to his son Sam. This is effective immediately and PSV will gain a caretaker by the end of next week to allow Sam time to get his affairs in order.
      2. Derby County will retire from FFO at the end of the season
      3. Celtic will play their home games at DB_Celtic_Park from Season 2
      4. The WM Cup will be rebranded the Darren Bradwell Cup from Season 2. Notes about David and Kaio, along with the cups history, will remain on the main page of the cup. I find this very fitting given its the only cup Darren won and he spoke with pride about it to me a few months ago. Even more fitting is the last winner of this cup was Mike Bradwell.
      5. Celtic will be placed into the WM Cup automatically for S2 unless they qualify for a higher comp (DPT or CL)

      Thank You
